What type of events are held at the Elks Lodge #92?
The Ship Canal Event Venue is popular for hosting corporate retreats, bridal and wedding parties, auctions, charitable, birthdays, and graduation events. The room offers access to a small patio area perfect for cocktail hour, additional guest seating, and outside photos. Our team can show you how our unique multi-purpose spaces can best be used for all events!
How can I tour the facilities?
Venue tours are by appointment only. Please schedule a tour via email request.
What is the capacity of the different rooms?
The Banquet Hall can accommodate up to 100 guests, and the Board Room can hold 14 people comfortably.
What is Included in the venue rental?
The rate varies based on the space required. Banquet Hall cleaning fees are a $500 non-refundable fee. Please review the venue section for rates. For a specific quote, please email the Lodge and include specifics regarding your event and preferred date.
Venue Rental Includes:
- (8) table rounds, each seats 8: 100 accompanying banquet chairs; (8) bar stools: and (4) 6-foot rectangular tables
- Access to bar setup
- Wireless internet access
- (3) large-screen TVs
- Screen and projector
- AV system
- Bluetooth
Limited street parking available, ride share suggested.
Venue Rental does not include:
- Additional hours of access outside the day of rental
- Set-up and clean-up rate ($50 per hour)
- Bridal/family/staging in the Board Room ($200, 2 hr. min)
When are payments, deposits, etc due?
A 50% rental fee deposit and a signed contract are required to guarantee your reservation date. Other payment details can be viewed here, or email us for a quote.
Can I bring my own food? Do you offer catering?
Yes, you may bring your own food. We do not provide catering but can recommend some great ones.
Can I provide my own alcohol?
No. Seattle Elks Lodge #92 does not allow any outside alcohol. You must purchase all alcoholic beverages from the Lodge. We have a full-service bar, and can provide servers for your event.
Do you have recommendations for DJs, bands, photographers, florists, and bakeries?
Absolutely, please inquire within. We are happy to help.
What decorations are allowed at Lodge 92?
Flameless candles, balloons, and other decorations are allowed. Nails, staples, and screws are not allowed to hang decorations. Command Strips must be used to hang anything on painted surfaces. If you must hang décor that requires a ladder, (due to OSHA regulations) you must provide the ladder.
Does the Lodge have parking and/or overnight lodging?
We have a surface lot that can be used for loading and unloading. Street parking is available, but limited. We do not have overnight lodging on our property.
Do I need Event Insurance, and if so, how do I get it?
For your protection, we require one-day event insurance. The Renter can purchase this insurance through the Seattle Elks Lodge #92 for approximately $162.
Do you provide security?
We do not, but we recommend on-site security for events of 75 or more people.
